Play every category in Ranked, select a topic in Casual, or open the Daily Challenge.

Lock an answer

Read all four choices. A correct answer scores; an incorrect answer does not.

Finish the set

The final score decides the match. Ranked results also update your Elo rating.

Game modes

Ranked Mode

The competitive mode and the only one that changes your Elo rating. Every ranked match uses the full General Trivia question pool.

  • 1v1 matchmaking starts near your current rating and widens only when needed.
  • Everyone starts at 1,000; the first 5 games are provisional and move faster.
  • The result and opponent strength set the rating change. Point margin does not.

Casual Mode

Pick any category and play with zero rating pressure. Casual never affects your Elo rating.

  • Choose one category or use the full General Trivia pool.
  • The live question and scoring rules match Ranked.
  • You still earn XP, but your rating never changes.

Daily Challenge

A fresh set of 10 themed questions every day. Compete against all players who attempt the same challenge.

  • Everyone receives the same topic and question set.
  • Correct answers earn up to 100 points, falling over the 12-second timer.
  • You get one attempt per day; the result lands on the shared leaderboard.

Millionaire Mode

Survive 15 randomly selected questions while the stakes rise. One wrong answer ends the run.

  • Each published ladder contains randomly selected playable questions from its governed pool.
  • The rewards rise as you climb; question selection does not depend on the tier.
  • Each correct answer advances one tier.
  • Your best completed tier is the result that matters.

Play a Friend

Challenge a friend directly to a private 1v1 match. Share an invite link and settle it head-to-head.

  • Invite a friend by username or share the private join link.
  • Choose General Trivia or a specific category.
  • Friend matches never change either player’s rating.

Live questions use a 12-second answer window. Correct answers lose value as time passes; incorrect answers score zero.

Score and rating differ

Score decides the board. Ranked Elo changes from the result and opponent strength, not the point margin.

Rank ladder

Every player begins at 1,000. The first 5 ranked games are provisional; later movement is steadier.
